It was August 2, 2014. Christa and Mike both had plans to spend a great weekend on the Jersey Shore with their friends at a music festival; separately. It was the first day where Mike saw Christa, standing all alone, and knew he had to talk to her. As soon as their eyes met, something in the air shifted. Minimal small talk was had before Christa's friends came back from the bar and they went their separate ways and didn't see each other for the rest of the weekend.

The following weekend, they once again had plans with their friends to go to Governor's Island. They just so happened to be on the same boat, that only runs every half hour, where Mike saw Christa from the deck above and called out for her. Christa immediately recognized him. Mike ran down to meet her on the lower deck just to talk to her again. Once they left the boat, they went their separate ways and had a great night with their friends. Later that week, Mike searched for Christa on Instagram. When he finally found her, he commented on her photo from that weekend. Christa gave Mike her phone number and the rest was history. They met up two weeks later at another music festival after it was cancelled due to rain and tried to attend an after party at Pacha NYC. They were first in line to get tickets. By the time it came to pay, the tickets were so expensive they decided to leave. Brian, Mike's older brother, picked us up and dropped Christa off to go back to college. After this, Christa and Mike did not see each other until Halloween, 2014. They met up at Pier 94 and that is where everything fell into place.

Two weeks later, Mike asked Christa to go back to Pacha for their official first date. Mike would soon there after come visit Christa at college every weekend. Mike then invited Christa to Life in Color, a paint party in Atlantic City, with all of his friends to which she accepted. To her surprise, that night, he asked her to be his girlfriend (3 times to be exact because the music was so loud and she did not hear him).

Ever since then, they traveled the world, going to music festivals and shows with some of the amazing friends they have ever met along the way. *The dance music community brought them together in a way that is indescribable.* For their 5 year anniversary, they decided to take a cruise to Costa Maya, Mexico and Harvest Caye, Belize. After this trip they decided every 5 years they would take a big trip together to celebrate them.

5 years later, Christa and Mike go to Paris and London to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. On September 30, 2024, Mike (finally) asked Christa to be his wife in front of the Eiffel Tower. With the help of friends and a lovely photographer team, her dream proposal came to life. Christa and Mike are so excited to celebrate their love in a way that reflects their relationship in a fun and unique way. *Let's fucking gooooooo!*
